Well I got my first album review, which was very favourable. It's from an online radio station/portal called: Subsonic Temple Radio.
Here's what they said: 'Hussein Boon brings back the "Smooth" to smooth jazz. This is a must for lovers of jazz guitar or for those looking for that romantic after hours CD. I'm sure that the world will be hearing a lot more from Hussein.'

The album has just become available on iTunes. Again got a bit of a buzz for a shortwhile but really need to get my act together in promoting it.
Whilst we're on the subject of iTunes, they don't seem to offer the same level of detailed service for 'unknown' artists as they do for their major label buddies. A lot of the metadata wasn't added to the tracks which is a bit of a shame, as it means no one can search for a composer as opposed to an artist or genre. The next task is to get some reviews.

Welcome to my blog. There's tons to say but for the moment I'll just hold back and let it come out gradually.
I must admit that I got a bit of a buzz finding the album on Amazon and Napster, though it's difficult to understand why it takes iTunes so long but I continue to check every few days (a very sad activity).
